Abrar Rehman Pharmacy launches in Bradford

We are proud to announce the opening of a new pharmacy in the Imaan Healthcare chain! Abrar Rehman Pharmacy officially opened to the public this week, offering its services to the local Bradford community.

About Abrar Rehman Pharmacy

Abrar Rehman Pharmacy is located at Ashwell Medical Centre, Ashwell Road, Manningham, Bradford BD8 9DP. Notably, it is the first Imaan pharmacy to open under a joint partnership. Imaan Healthcare’s Rehman Pharmacy has partnered with Ashwell Medical Centre to bring this new pharmacy to local Bradford residents.

Construction began on the new pharmacy in 2021 and completed in January. We are very pleased that construction went so smoothly, and that our pharmacy was able to open on schedule. Patients can now pop in for a consultation based on any of our various services on offer.

Local residents can expect an array of essential pharmacy services to be provided by the pharmacy. This includes:

• Chlamydia screening & treatment
• Emergency contraception

• Inhaler technique service
• Multilingual staff
• New Medicine Service (NMS)

• Prescription collection & delivery
• Rapid lateral flow COVID-19 tests
• Smoking cessation service
• Supervised consumption of prescribed medicines
• Type 2 diabetes screening

On top of these regular pharmacy services, Abrar Rehman Pharmacy will also provide a range of holistic services made possible by the clinic’s convenient location. The pharmacy’s proximity to certain facilities means Abrar Rehman also provides services from the surgery, a local gym, and local chefs to help improve the community’s health, wellbeing, physical exercise, diet, and nutrition.

We are thrilled with the possibilities on offer due to this bold healthcare partnership. This is new ground for an Imaan pharmacy, and it holds exciting opportunities for the future of our business.

The launch
