Blister Packs

What Are Blister Packs?

Blister packs allow you to keep track of your prescribed medicines. You can sort your dosages by day, meaning you won’t lose track of when to take your medicines and how much to take.

Many of our medicines require a Monitored Dosage System (MDS) which serves the same organisational purpose, but some of them do not. If you are prescribed medicines that do not automatically come with an MDS but wish to gain the privileges of trays, you can request blister packs from us.

Blister packs are free for those who are eligible.

What are the advantages of using Blister Packs?

Blister packs ensure that the exact right medication dose is given at the right time in the most efficient way.  They can help anyone who struggles to remember to take their medication, or which medication they should take on which day.

How are Blister Pack doses organized?

Blister packs can be organized by both days of the week and time of day (such as morning/noon/evening/night time). They also are available in a range of single-dose and multi-dose options, including a 28 count or 21 counts size to hold a wider variety of medications.
